Who is this for?
This internationally recognised first aid course is for anyone who wants to be prepared to help in an emergency—both in the water and in daily life. It’s particularly valuable for freedivers, surfers, divers, yoga teachers, and anyone working closely with others.
No previous experience is required.
Primary care (CPR) and secondary care (first aid)
How to respond to common medical emergencies
Basic life support and use of AED (automated external defibrillator)
Scene assessment and safety
Injury and illness assessment
Bandaging, splinting, and managing shock
Communication and emotional care in emergencies
1-day course | CHF 160
Mix of hands-on practice, instructor guidance, and scenarios
Certification valid for 2 years
Can be combined with freediving or surf safety training upon request
Taught in small groups (or privately) for personal attention and comfort
Comfortable clothing

Water, lunch/snacks
An open mind and willingness to practise new skills
All training materials and first aid equipment are provided.
You’ll be confident and capable in handling medical situations—from minor injuries to critical emergencies. EFR training is not only essential for diving—it’s empowering in everyday life, whether you’re at home, on the road, or in nature.
This certification is also a prerequisite for AIDA 3 and instructor training.
